Welcome and thank you for checking out my blog, I am very passionate about making cakes and I decided I wanted to create a place to display the cakes I am making and what I learn through out the process. Every time I make a cake I learn from my mistakes and every cake is a bit better then the last. Some day I hope to be just like Buddy on Cake Boss, surrounded by my family and doing the thing I love most. :)

Courtney's Wedding Cake
A friend of my friend, Tiffany, was getting married and wasn't too picky about what she wanted for her wedding cake. The wedding colors were yellow & silver. I found the picture of the inspiration cake on the left and Tiffany showed it to Courtney and she liked it so I worked from that picture. I didn't want to use the wire flowers cause it just seems bothersome to have to remove them all when serving the cake. I also used a lot more flowers. I made 120 flowers and all but 6 made it on to the cake and I probably could have found places for them, but I didn't want to go overboard.
